Much like, other commodities, flowers are graded. Produce and meats can be Grade A, but did you know flowers can as well? Those flowers you see offered in your local warehouse store or grocery are not “Grade A” or even “Grade C”-these stores offer these as what are referred to as “loss-leaders.” The store is really making no money off these offerings and because of this they do not purchase the highest quality and freshest blooms available from the Dutch, Israeli and South American markets.
By contrast, we only purchase the freshest and highest-grade flowers for our discerning clientele. This is probably why you’ve noticed your bouquet from Savington & Hill lasts much longer than the bunch you picked up at the local Acme. And with this comes a cost, as the old saying goes “you get what you pay for” comes to mind.
We strive to offer a more design-driven and sophisticated visual aesthetic than our competition. Having grown up in the business, and learning from my uncle and his family, I know what it means to offer superb design coupled with unparalleled quality.
We use only premium blooms selected each morning individually. Our designers are experienced, but not ‘set in their ways’- that they can’t adapt and remain at the cutting edge of design. It may sound boastful, but our presentation is elegant, and we aim to offer the finest same-day or next-day delivery throughout most of the Eastern Shore. We pride ourselves on prompt and conscientious service. We work hard to be beautifully unique.
Knowing the marketplace already is overrun with low-price sellers, and less than stellar florists, our mission is to offer something more beautiful. We want to be different and better. We follow a boutique approach. We proudly are disrupting the status quo to be an authentic bespoke luxury floral atelier boasting high-caliber design, personal service, and the freshest blooms. We hand select each stem and purchase them in small batches to ensure that our designs last the longest in your home.
